COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Adreima supports community involvement by organizing and participating in numerous activities and charities supporting families in the communities we serve.
In the last few years, Adreima has collected more than $10,000 for the American Heart Association through our yearly annual
company-wide Heart Walk. Not only do we have our walking competition for our internal culture, we also raise donations through bake sales, art sales, etc. The American Heart Association's Mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all they do. If you would like more information on the American Heart Association please visit www.heart.org.
Since 2009, Adreima has also collected approximately $2,500 for Ryan’s House through team member donations. The mission
of Ryan House is to provide essential care in a home-like setting where children with life-threatening conditions and their families may come for respite and, as needed, end of life care. Their philosophy of comfort care addresses not only physical pain but also the emotional, spiritual, and social needs of the child and family. For more information on Ryan House please visit http://ryanhouse.org.
During the Holiday season, Adreima helps provide Holiday Gifts and Food during the holiday season for more than 6 Phoenix families in need through Advocates for Kids Program. Advocates for Kids is a not-for-profit non-denominational foundation providing necessary resources for specific projects that support the welfare of children worldwide. Adreima supports Advocates for Kids in their efforts to provide food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education to children in need. For more information please visit www.advocatesforkids.com.
In December 2010, 40 team members participate at St. Mary's Food Bank to donate their time to help their holiday rush. St.
Mary's Food Bank, the world's first food bank, is an organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to sites that serve the hungry. For more information please visit www.firstfoodbank.org.
In July 2011, Adreima hosted a dinner for individuals in Bullhead City and Tucson and assisted them in completing Medicaid Eligibility and DES applications. This new program has been a huge hit on registering families for Medicaid Health insurance, as well as Food Stamps.
Throughout the year we have monthly coin drives for different team member selected charities. Adreima Team Members were able to raise $200 in coins for 1n10 and Kaity's Way.
1n10's mission is to serve LGBTQA youth and young adults. They enhance their lives by providing empowering social and
service programs that promote self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development and healthy life choices. They provide youth with tools to improve self esteem and acceptance of who they are. For more information, please visit www.1n10.org.
Kaity's Way's mission is to promote understanding and educate the community to lessen the instances of voilence among or
against children through P.E.A.C.E. (Patience, Empathy, Acceptance, Caring, and Equility). For more information, please visit www.kaitysway.org.
We also have "Jeans Month" quarterly for donations to wear jeans to work, and the donations go to select charities.
In August 2011, "Jeans Month" raised $1180 for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital. Our contributions will help St. Jude's
fulfill their mission to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude's never denies treatment based on a family's ability to pay. For more information on St. Jude's please visit www.stjude.org.
Currently we are doing a coin drive for 'Soldiers Best Friend.' This charity places and trains Service Dogs and Therapeutic
Companion Dogs with United States Military Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The 'Soldier's Best Friend' Charity's goal is to help the PTSD patient recover from their symptoms and help them adjust back into society. For more information about Soldier's Best Friend visit https://soldiersbestfriend.org.
Please check back to see how Adreima continues to be involved in our communities.
